After 5-day Gujarat tour, BJP state in-charge stresses coordination, public service and scheme delivery

Ahmedabad, Sep 12 (IANS) Gujarat BJP in-charge Tarun Chugh concluded a five-day organisational tour of six districts in the state on Saturday, with a visit to Vadodara district where he held meetings with party office-bearers, elected representatives and cooperative leaders to review organisational work and discuss coordination in public service.

Chugh, along with state BJP Organisation General Secretary Ratnakar, visited Gandhinagar, Kheda, Panchmahal, Dahod, Chhota Udepur and Vadodara between September 8 and 12.

During the tour, meetings were held with party functionaries and other stakeholders to review the organisation’s functioning and discuss measures to make it more active and stronger.

During the Vadodara visit, Chugh and Ratnakar held separate meetings with organisational office-bearers, elected public representatives, cooperative leaders and the district coordination committee at the district BJP office.

The meetings covered organisational planning, ongoing activities and programmes under the ‘Seva Sankalp Abhiyan’.

Discussions also focused on strengthening coordination between the party organisation and public service activities.

At the meeting with elected representatives and cooperative leaders, the BJP leaders called for continuous public contact at the local level and efforts to ensure the quick resolution of people’s problems through public service activities.

They also stressed the need to ensure that various government schemes reach every eligible beneficiary through saturation coverage.

The meeting with the district coordination committee focused on improving coordination between organisational activities and public welfare work, as well as ensuring their effective implementation.

The visit was attended by state BJP General Secretary Hitendrasinh Chauhan, Bharatiya Janata Yuva Morcha national president and MP Hemang Joshi, state vice-president Rasik Prajapati, Vadodara district BJP president B.J. Brahmbhatt, district in-charge Dr Ritvij Patel, MLAs, party office-bearers, cooperative leaders, senior members and other party workers.

“The organisational tour was aimed at reviewing the party’s functioning across the six districts and metropolitan areas and providing guidance on strengthening its organisational activities and coordination with public service initiatives,” party sources said.
