Mumbai, June 23 (IANS) Actress Sara Ali Khan has shared glimpses of her special time in London with her grandmother and veteran actress Sharmila Tagore.
In her post, she reflected on how such moments turn into lasting memories. The ‘Simmba’ actress described the experience as simple yet deeply meaningful. Taking to Instagram, Sara posted a series of photos with her mother Amrita Singh and grandmother Sharmila Tagore. Alongside the snapshots, she wrote, “London for a minute, moments forever.”
In the first image, Sara is seen posing with the veteran actress, her arm wrapped around her. In the next, she poses solo with a stunning landscape in the background. The third shows her posing with her mother, Amrita Singh. A few other shots show the ‘Kedarnath’ actress making memories with her mother and grandmother.
Yesterday, Sara took to Instagram Stories and shared a collage featuring two photographs from a theatre outing with her mother, Amrita, and Sharmila Tagore. The trio had attended a stage play together, spending an evening immersed in the performing arts.
Sharing the special moment, Sara accompanied the post with a witty and affectionate caption that read, “Theatre time with my OG legends Play toh accha tha but best actors toh mere bagal mein hi hai.”
For the unversed, Amrita Singh was previously married to Saif Ali Khan, son of Sharmila Tagore and the late cricket legend Mansoor Ali Khan Pataudi. The two got married in 1991, at a time when Amrita was an established Bollywood actress, while Saif was still at the early stages of his career. Amrita is also about 12 years older than Saif.
Their marriage lasted for more than a decade before they separated in 2004. The former couple has two children together—actor Sara Ali Khan and Ibrahim Ali Khan. Saif later married actress Kareena Kapoor Khan in 2012. The couple are parents to two sons, Taimur Ali Khan and Jehangir Ali Khan.
Sara and Ibrahim are often seen bonding with Kareena, Saif, Taimur, and Jeh during family gatherings, holidays, and festive occasions.
