Hubballi: Direct flight services between Hubballi and Chennai will resume on October 27, providing improved air connectivity for travellers from North Karnataka, Union minister Pralhad Joshi said.
Joshi, who represents the Hubballi-Dharwad Lok Sabha constituency, announced the development in a post on social media platform X. IndiGo will operate the service three days a week — Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday.
According to the schedule shared, flight 6E 7368 will depart from Hubballi at 4.25 pm and arrive in Chennai at 6.05 pm. The return flight, 6E 7369, will leave Chennai at 6.35 pm and reach Hubballi at 8.20 pm.
The resumption is expected to benefit business travellers, tourists, students and people travelling for employment and other purposes. Direct connectivity is also likely to reduce travel time for passengers from Hubballi and neighbouring parts of North Karnataka.
Joshi thanked Union civil aviation minister K Rammohan Naidu and IndiGo for their cooperation in restarting the service.
The direct link between the two cities is expected to make travel more convenient and support business and tourism-related activities in the region.
