New Delhi, Aug 21 (IANS) Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Friday extended birthday greetings to Arunachal Pradesh Chief Minister Pema Khandu, praising his efforts towards the development and progress of the northeastern state.
Taking to X, PM Modi said Khandu was “at the forefront” of several initiatives aimed at taking Arunachal Pradesh to new heights of progress and wished him a long and healthy life in service of the people.
“My best wishes to Arunachal Pradesh’s Chief Minister, Shri Pema Khandu Ji on his birthday. He is at the forefront of numerous initiatives that are taking the state to new heights of progress. May he be blessed with a long and healthy life in service of the people,” the Prime Minister posted on X.
Responding to the Prime Minister, Khandu thanked PM Modi for his wishes and blessings, saying his support and encouragement would strengthen his resolve to continue working for the people of Arunachal Pradesh.
“Thank you so much Hon’ble PM Shri @narendramodi Ji, for your warm wishes, kind words and blessings. Your support and encouragement mean a great deal to me and strengthen my resolve to continue serving the people of Arunachal Pradesh with sincerity and dedication,” Khandu posted.
Union Minister Nitin Gadkari also extended his birthday wishes to the Arunachal Pradesh Chief Minister. Gadkari wished Khandu health and prosperity in the year ahead.
“Extending my heartfelt birthday wishes to the Chief Minister of Arunachal Pradesh Shri @PemaKhanduBJP Ji. May this occasion bring joy and the year ahead be filled with health and prosperity,” Gadkari said in his post on X.
Union Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan also greeted Khandu on his birthday, describing him as a popular and dedicated leader and wishing him good health and a long life.
“Heartfelt birthday greetings to the popular and dedicated Chief Minister of Arunachal Pradesh, Comrade Shri @PemaKhanduBJP ji! I pray to God for your excellent health, long and auspicious life. May Arunachal Pradesh create a new history of progress and development under your able leadership – my best wishes!” Chouhan posted.
Assam Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma extended his greetings to Khandu, referring to him as a friend and highlighting the state’s progress under his leadership.
“Birthday greetings to Hon’ble Chief Minister of Arunachal Pradesh and my friend Shri @PemaKhanduBJP Ji. Under his leadership, the state is scaling new heights of peace, progress, and all-round growth. Prayers to Maa Kamakhya and Srimanta Sankardev for his long & healthy life,” Sarma posted.
