
Los Angeles, June 6 (IANS) Princess of pop Britney Spears was over-the-moon after getting a surprise gift that fulfilled a childhood dream.
The “Toxic” singer shared a clip of herself reacting to a newly gifted white hued-greenhouse. She went on to share that she had wanted a small greenhouse ever since she was a child.
She posted a video of herself and was heard asking someone behind the camera: “It was a surprise for me? Are you serious? Yes. Oh my god, really? That is so cool. Oh my god, my greenhouse.”
For the caption, she wrote: “What a spectacular gift… I’ve wanted a small greenhouse since I was a child… ok I’ve cried and I need a cup of coffee… what a beautiful day.”
Talking about the 44-year-old Grammy winner, she was known for reviving teen pop. She began her career in 1992 as a cast member for the musical Ruthless! and the final two seasons of The All-New Mickey Mouse Club television series before signing in 1997.
Her debut single, “…Baby One More Time”, was her first US Billboard Hot 100 chart-topper and one of the best-selling singles in history. She turned out to be the best-selling teenage artist of all time with the best-selling albums …Baby One More Time and Oops!… I Did It Again,
Her single “Toxic” earned her a Grammy Award for Best Dance/Electronic Recording. She became the third woman to top the Billboard Hot 100 in three decades.
Spears is one of the best-selling music artists of all time. Her awards include one Grammy Award, six MTV Video Music Awards, seven Billboard Music Awards and a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame.
She made her acting debut in the coming-of-age road movie Crossroads, which premiered in 2002. The film is set in Georgia and centers on three teenage girls on a cross-country road trip, as they find themselves and their friendship in the process.
