Patna: The BJP kept up its attack on Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar over his leadership credentials, with now Leader of Opposition in the Legislative Council Samrat Chaudhary on Monday saying that he does not have a national image.
“The countrymen knew Nitish Kumar as Paltu Ram who often changed the alliance to remain on the post of the CM. He is the first leader who became Chief Minister of Bihar in the last 17 years with the different political alliances. He does not have the moral right or principle to remain in the post,” he said.
The statement of Chaudhary came at a time when JD-U and RJD leaders are projecting Nitish Kumar as the prime ministerial candidate after the formation of Mahagathbandhan government in Bihar.
“Bihar has a great history due to the good works of so many people. Now, Bihar will also be known in a world where a Paltu Kumar also lives.
“JD-U is no longer a political party in Bihar. It is a party where one person is king and others are servants,” he alleged.
