Mumbai, June 5 (IANS) Actor Apoorva Agnihotri penned a heartfelt birthday note for his wife, Shilpa Saklani, calling her his “rock”, “soulmate” and “best friend”.
Taking to his social media account, Apoorva shared a stunning portrait of Shilpa dressed in a powder-blue saree with golden floral motifs and an embellished blouse.
The actress was seen sporting a sleek bun, hoop earrings and bright pink lipstick in the picture.
Along with the picture, he wrote, “Happy Birthday To My Rock ..My Soulmate..and My Best Friend.. Thank You For Being My Peace & Passion.”
Talking about their love story, Apoorva and Shilpa first met during the early years of their television careers and gradually developed a close friendship that blossomed into love.
After dating for many years, the couple tied the knot in 2004 and have since completed more than two decades of marriage.
The duo has often spoken about standing by each other through the ups and downs of life and showbiz. Their bond was also visible when they participated together in the reality show ‘Bigg Boss 7’ in 2013.
In 2022, the couple embraced parenthood with the birth of their daughter Ishaani Kanu Agnihotri.
Ever since her birth, Apoorva and Shilpa have frequently shared adorable moments featuring their little one on social media.
On the professional front, Apoorva Agnihotri made his Bollywood debut with the Shah Rukh Khan starrer ‘Pardes’ opposite Mahima Chaudhary. He later appeared in films such as ‘Pyaar Koi Khel Nahin’, ‘Hum Ho Gaye Aapke’, ‘Lakeer’ and others. He gained immense popularity on the small screen with shows including ‘Jassi Jaissi Koi Nahin’, where his portrayal of Armaan Suri earned him a huge fan following.
Talking about Shilpa Saklani, the actress is a familiar face in Indian television. She is best remembered for playing Ganga in the iconic TV show ‘Kyunki Saas Bhi Kabhi Bahu Thi’ and has also been part of shows such as ‘Jassi Jaissi Koi Nahin’, ‘Kkusum’, ‘Lavanya’.
