New Delhi, Aug 14 (IANS) The National Testing Agency (NTA) has announced that the provisional answer keys for UGC‑NET, CSIR‑NET and ICAR AIEEA (PG) and AICE (PhD) 2026 examinations will be released on August 16, 2026, on its official website, nta.ac.in. Candidates who appeared for these exams have been advised to keep their login credentials ready.
The agency informed candidates through its official X handle about the scheduled release and urged them to rely solely on official NTA communications for further updates. In its post, NTA stated that the provisional answer keys for UGC‑NET, CSIR‑NET and ICAR AIEEA (PG) and AICE (PhD) 2026 will be published on August 16, 2026, on the agency’s website, and candidates should depend only on verified official channels.
Once the provisional answer key is made available, candidates who took the UGC NET June 2026 examination can access it through the official UGC NET website, ugcnet.nta.nic.in. The key will enable them to compare the answers they recorded during the examination with the official responses provided by NTA.
To download the provisional answer key, candidates need to visit the official UGC NET portal and click on the link for the UGC NET June 2026 provisional answer key displayed on the homepage. A PDF will appear on the screen, which they can download and save for reference.
If any candidate identifies a discrepancy, they can object to or challenge the answers or questions within the prescribed timeline. The objection window will open after the provisional answer key is released. During this period, candidates must carefully match all questions and answers before submitting their challenges. Subject experts will review the objections received and prepare the final answer key accordingly.
Candidates have been advised to regularly check the official NTA portal and the respective examination websites for the latest updates regarding the answer key, objection window, and result declaration.
