
New Delhi, May 30 (IANS) Delhi BJP President Harsh Malhotra on Saturday accepted Chandni Chowk MP Praveen Khandelwal’s invitation to address a session at the Pandit Deendayal Upadhyay Maha Prashikshan Abhiyan in the Keshavpuram and Chandni Chowk party districts that fall within the latter’s parliamentary constituency.
A Delhi BJP Media official said that Malhotra accepted Khandelwal’s invitation to interact with party workers at one of the sessions.
The training campaign in Chandni Chowk is a part of the party’s Mega Training Campaign to cover all 256 Mandals in the city and nurture the ideology of cultural nationalism and integral humanism among workers.
In another development, Khandelwal inaugurated an exhibition on the BJP’s progress journey from 1980 to the present and the achievements of the Central and Delhi governments, organised at the Chandni Chowk Mahaprashikshan Abhiyan camp site.
The inauguration ceremony was also attended by BJP’s Rajya Sabha MP Swati Maliwal, District President Arvind Garg and senior workers.
Delhi BJP Organisation General Secretary Pawan Rana inaugurated the training camp of the BJP Chandni Chowk district by lighting the lamp.
A party leader said that through this mega training campaign, the BJP aims to prepare more than 1,00,000 trained workers.
“They (BJP workers) are being trained in ideological foundations, party history and development, organisational functioning, expansion strategies, booth management, achievements of Central and state governments, and the use of social media and AI,” he said.
In March, Delhi Chief Minister Rekha Gupta also attended a training camp for Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) workers at her home mandal, Shalimar Bagh, for two hours and encouraged party workers to make the most of the organisational initiative
In the same month, Malhotra addressed the Madanpur Khadar West Mandal; BJP MP Ramvir Singh Bidhuri addressed Kalkaji Mandal; MP Yogendra Chandolia addressed Swaroop Nagar, Nangloi, and Dev Nagar mandals; MP Kamaljeet Sehrawat addressed Roshanpura and Dichaukalan mandals; State General Secretary Vishnu Mittal addressed Paharganj; MP Praveen Khandelwal addressed Ballimaran, Kohat, and Kudesia Nagar wards, and Minister Ashish Sood addressed sessions in Janakpuri.
